To commemorate the school’s conversion from an arts and trades college into a state university[1], the University Student Council spearheaded University Days 2019 on December 12 and 13 at the DHVSU Main Campus in Bacolor.

The two-day affair, organized in partnership with the YouthNited Movement, held up with the theme “Sunlag: Rise from the Ashes, Celebrate Pride and Culture for One DHVSU,” representing the passion, artistic talent, cooperation, and triumph of every 'Anak ng Honorio,’ at the same time highlighting their resiliency and boldness in every adversity faced, such as the Mount Pinatubo eruption in 1991.

Packed with a variety of performances and contests for the DHVSU community to enjoy, the University Days 2019 aims to unite every Honorian in all colleges, departments and campuses. This year, activities include Street Dance, Cheer Dance and Free-Interpretative Dance Competitions; Float Parade; Singkagaling; Best Dance Crew; K-Pop Random Play Dance and K-Pop Dance Cover Competition; Miss Q & A; the much-awaited Mr. & Ms. DHVSU 2019; and, the Lighting of Parul Para Kay Honorio. This is aside from the student-run booths that filled designated areas in the campus, and a thanksgiving mass celebrated before the opening program.
