OIPP sends off first-ever Honorian Fulbrighter

To show strong support for the first Honorian Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program participant, the Office of International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP), led by its director, Dr. Mildred M. Crisostomo, accompanied Cailvin Reyes, a faculty member from the Porac campus, to a pre-departure orientation and send-off reception held at Greenfield Tower in Mandaluyong on June 5, 2024.

Reyes is one of the four Filipinos selected for the FLTA program and will be teaching Filipino as a foreign language at Gonzaga University in Washington, United States of America, for nine months.

During the event, Mr. Julio S. Amador III, Executive Director of Philippine American Education Foundation (PAEF) emphasized in his message to make the most out of the experience of the Fulbrighters so that when they come back, the country and respective institutions of the participants will surely benefit.

Through this accomplishment, the OIPP is optimistic about having more initiatives that will pave the way for more opportunities for the Honorian community.

Dr. Crisostomo was also joined by Dr. Gloria B. Gigante, Director of the Office of Student Affairs, in representing the University at the FLTA.
