The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE) Department of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) proudly raised the Honorian flag on the national stage by producing three Most Outstanding ECE Students at the 2024 National Student Summit of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP), held at the University of the Philippines Diliman from November 14 to 15, 2024.
The recognized students were Rhyan Gobres (Rank 1), Charles Romero (Rank 2), and Andres Pineda (Rank 6), while IECEP Pampanga Student Chapter President Romeo Jr. Yumul was also nominated for the said award.
In addition, the IECEP Pampanga Student Chapter claimed First Runner-Up in the Best Electronics Engineering Student Chapter Award.

• Second Runner Up in Digital Poster Making – Julian Miguel Gatchalian
• Third Runner Up in Interscholastic Quiz Show – Jabez Ayson, John Bernado, Angel Heart Guinto, Ishin Camille Mutuc, Jonas Pineda, and Gabriel Pagcu
• Fourth Runner Up in Tech-Tok – Romero Jr. M. Yumul
• 10th Place in Datathon – Jabez Ayson, John Bernardo, and Elidan Lumbang
• 10th Place in Impromptu – Romero Jr. M. Yumul
• 12th Place in Tech-Pitching – Mark Gilmore Arceo, Patricia Jewel Bonifacio, Emanuel Gutierrez, Bianca Mari Salvador, and Romero Jr. M. Yumul
• Participant in Math Olympiad – Mak Aceyork Cabatay, Jeroeim Echague, and Austin Paul Magtoto
• Participant in Electronics Elite Showdown – Angel Loren Ducut, Hanz Rafael Manuel, and Luis Andrian Israel Tuazon
The event is held annually to bring together ECE students from various higher education institutions and organizations across the Philippines, with this year’s theme focusing on “Inspiring Excellence: Pioneering Innovations for a Sustainable Future.”
