Campus Opening

DHVSU Candaba Campus was established as an extension campus on September 2, 2019 under the administration of Honorable Governor Dennis Pineda, Honorable Mayor Rene E. Maglanque and DHVSU President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, at the height of COVID-19 pandemic.

The inauguration of the campus was held on September 8, 2020 with Congressman Rimpy Bondoc, Honorable Mayor Rene E. Maglanque along with Vice Mayor Michael Sagum and the Saguniang Bayan ng Candaba, as well as the Director of the campus Dr. Jessie D. Manapsal and DHVSU Administrative Council and with the support of Pampanga Provincial Government.

The campus started its operation via online class on October 5, 2020 with a total of 679 students and Dr. Jessie D. Manapsal as the first Campus Director. The programs offered for the undergraduate: Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English & Filipino, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing & Economics wherein 606 students were enrolled. Master in Education Major in Educational Management was offered for graduate program with a total of 73 students.

 

 

Distribution of Tablets and Cash Assistance

In conjunction with the inauguration of the new DHVSU Candaba Campus last September 8, 2020, batch 1 of the tablets and financial assistance were also distributed. It is one of the priority programs of the mayor for the students to be used in the new normal learning.

The tablets and cash assistance were distributed per batch as follows. First batch were the courses BS in Information Technology, BS in Secondary Education Major in English, BSBA Major in Economics, BSBA Major in Entrepreneurship and BS in Elementary Education.

Distribution of tablets for the second batch was held last October 2, 2020 where the tablets and financial assistance were given to the students enrolled in the courses BS in Public Administration, BS in Secondary Education Major in Filipino and BSBA Major in Marketing.

Tablets and cash assistance are of great help to students especially during the pandemic and the new learning program.
