DHVSU passes ISO 9001:2015 QMS 2nd surveillance audit

 

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) has been recommended for its continued ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification!

In the recently concluded ISO 9001:2015 QMS 2nd Surveillance Audit held on November 27– 28, 2024, the University once again demonstrated its commitment to quality and excellence in academic and administrative operations.

Prior to the two-day external audit, the Quality Management Systems Office, led by Dir. Emmanuel Parreño and Director Anna Liza Nacion of the Knowledge Management and Innovation Office, conducted an internal audit across all DHVSU offices and units.

External auditors from W3 Solutionz, headed by Mr. Mark Anthony M. Ilagan, carried out the audit proper with the top management, department heads, faculty and staff, ensuring that DHVSU complies with the ISO QMS standards.

During the exit conference, Ilagan presented the audit findings and congratulated DHVSU on the successful implementation of its QMS.

Positive points given by the external auditor includes top management leadership and commitment in implementing a quality QMS, auditees were seen to be very open on opportunities for continual improvement, conduct of several corporate social responsibility activities, good facilities observed, acquiring of new equipment, numerous awards received by the University.

The success of the surveillance audit reinforces DHVSU’s commitment to promoting quality and excellence in all its services.
