To provide industry internships and potential employment opportunities for Honorians, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and Pradera Islands Theme Park formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the DHVSU Bacolor Campus on September 5, 2024.

To further guide Honorian employees on the principles and standards expected in public service, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) organized a seminar titled “Deepening Ethical Commitment: Upholding the Code of Conduct of DHVSU Employees,” held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on September 6, 2024.

One with the ASEAN in the celebration of the 57th ASEAN Founding Anniversary with the theme "Connected and Resilient Community", highlighting the whole-of-community approach to collaborate and not to compete, and addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) inaugurated the ASEAN Festival 2024 on August 27, 2024, via Zoom.

In support of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through the Administrative Services Office (AdminSO), participated in the 2024 Government Job Fair organized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) – Regional Office III. The event was held at Robinsons Starmills in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on September 4, 2024.

As a university committed to providing conducive learning experiences for the holistic development of learners, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through the Extension Services Office (ESO) and the Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO), held two separate turnover ceremonies for the Computer Donation Program for four public schools in the province of Pampanga.

To facilitate students' advancement in information and communication technology training, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) through the College of Computing Studies (CCS), in collaboration with the Extension Services Office (ESO), signed a partnership agreement with three public schools in the second district of Pampanga held at the University Hostel on August 30, 2024.

The Industrialist, the official student publication of Don Honorio Ventura State University, won 8th Place Overall Top Performing Student Publication of Region 3 by attaining 14 awards during during the 3rd Young Journalists Press Freedom Congress (YJPFC).held at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology - Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Erika Mae B. Figuracion, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology student at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) – College of Industrial Technology (CIT), showcased her skills and talent in Fashion Technology by winning a bronze medal at the recently concluded 2024 Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC) held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, from August 21-25,
2024.

Proudly representing the Honorian community, the 274 faculty and staff delegates of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) actively participated in the opening ceremony of the State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association of Region III (SCUFAR-III) Sports and Cultural Festival, held on August 20 at Pampanga State Agricultural University in Magalang, Pampanga.

Two faculty members from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) have completed the 16th batch of the LTB Culinary Scholarship Program for Teachers (LTBCSP) held from July 8-19, 2024, at the International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management in Manila under the guidance of Chef Norbert Gandler.

To provide literacy and livelihood trainings to Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through the Extension Services Office (ESO) in collaboration with the colleges and campuses, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Education – Division of Pampanga (DepEd Pampanga) for the implementation of Care Awareness Service, an ALS Uplifting Project (CASAUP).

Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, University President of Bohol Island State University, was named as the newly elected Chairperson and President of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. Board of Trustees on August 5, 2024.

Taking steps to make its way to the world, the administrative council and technical working group for internationalization at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) underwent mentoring on international rankings held at the University Hostel from July 29-31, 2024.

Despite the pandemic situation, the Gender and Development (GAD) Unit of DHVSU was able to make its presence felt in the university as it intensified its advocacy. 

In the recently held National Women’s Month Celebration, activities were organized to target multiple sectors concerning gender empowerment advocacies.
