To facilitate collaboration in identifying the needs and vulnerabilities faced by underprivileged communities, the City Government of San Fernando - Pampanga, through its City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in a ceremony held in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on February 17, 2025.

The Industrialist, the official student publication of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), claimed seven awards from the recently held 5th Assumption Outstanding Campus Press Awards (AOCPA) held at the University of the Assumption (UA) in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on January 28, 2025.

Steadily advocating for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the ambassadors of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) garnered 14 awards during the graduation and awarding ceremony of the G17 University Ambassador Consortium (UAC) Philippines National Summit, held on December 21, 2024, at Mapúa University in Makati City.

(AACCUP) for the Level 1 and Preliminary Survey Visit (PSV) programs for accreditation, began delivering her team’s general impressions during the closing program of the online survey visit to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) from December 2 to 6, 2024.

Baking, President of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), attended the executive meeting of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) leaders in Central Luzon with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman Dr. J. Two Senior High School (SHS) students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) brought pride to the ‘Potentials,’ as their mathematical problem-solving and analyzing skills earned them medals in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Big Bay Bei (BBB) 2024 Heat Round, held virtually on December 1, 2024.

To enhance the research and technical skills of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office III (DSWD FO III) personnel, Don Honorio Ventura State University, through its College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) and Extension Services Office (ESO), launched the CSSP RCP: Research Capacity Program for DSWD, held at DSWD FO III in Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, last December 10, 2024.

In its first attempt, DHVSU has successfully attained 20th place in the Philippines and 640th place globally among 1,477 institutions across 95 countries in the 15th edition of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024, ranking 15th among the Philippine state universities and colleges that participated.

As per the 2024 year-end release of the uniRank University RankingTM, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) rose to second place among the top universities and colleges in Central Luzon, Philippines, from its fourth-place ranking in the 2023 edition.

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Extension Services Office (ESO) and College of Computing Studies (CCS), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III (BJMPRO III) to collaborate on a project on the development of a Web-Based Real-Time Incident Reporting System.
