In a move to enhance their academic resources and their plans to establish their own museum, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) from Batac City, Ilocos Norte, embarked on a benchmarking activity to Don Honorio Ventura State University's University Learning and Resource Center (ULRC) and Heritage Museum on August 16.

In line with the university’s commitment to its core values and to achieve opportunities for continuous improvement, the Bacolor-Main and Porac campuses of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) embarked on the opening programme of the week-long Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) online survey visit for selected programs via Zoom Meetings on August 7, 2023.

Three instructors from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) have completed the 15-day Basic Culinary and Sanitation Program of LTB Philippines Chef Association Culinary Scholarship Program (LTBCSP) at Chef Norbert Gandler’s International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management in Manila last July 21, 2023.

The University Occupational Safety and Health Office (UOSHO) took significant steps towards building a stronger Filipino well-being and disaster resilience by organizing a four-day training on Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid held at the University Hostel, Multi-purpose Function Hall and CEA Extension Building last July 10 to 13.

DHVSU, Municipality of Floridablanca sign agreement and break ground for new campus August 4, 2023 - The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and the Municipality of Floridablanca formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the establishment of a new DHVSU campus in Barangay Consuelo Floridablanca, Pampanga.

Librarians and library staff from the main and regular campuses of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) - University Learning Resource Center (ULRC) gathered at the Tarlac State University (TSU) in Tarlac City, Tarlac to participate in the Genderized Library Benchmarking and Exchange of Library Materials event held last July 21.

DHVSU Psychology student Danniella Rose C. David, notched the eighth spot in the recently concluded Batch 36 Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) Assessment Examination held last June 24-25, 2023, with a rating of 90.00%, tied with two other examinees.

The DHVSU Psychology Society proudly presents the two group presenters from DHVSU 4th year BS in Psychology students of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) who joined the 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (AASP). The said conference of the AASP 2023 was organized and held in Hong Kong in hybrid mode by the Department of Psychology at the Education University of Hong Kong from July 13-15, 2023.

In observance of the National Disaster Resilience Month and in line with the theme "BIDANG Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-being towards Disaster Resilience," the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) – University Occupational Safety and Health Office (UOSHO) conducted the Basic Incident Command System (BICS) Training at the University Hostel's Multi- Purpose Function Hall from July 5 to 7, 2023.

Despite the pandemic situation, the Gender and Development (GAD) Unit of DHVSU was able to make its presence felt in the university as it intensified its advocacy. 

In the recently held National Women’s Month Celebration, activities were organized to target multiple sectors concerning gender empowerment advocacies. 

Inoculation was held at the Don Honorio Ventura State University last December 1, 2021 providing Flu Vaccines to its employees as well as their immediate family members. This was in concurrence with the National COVID-19 Vaccination drive which was set out from November 29 to December 1, 2021.
