Bacolor, Pampanga – Another batch of student-beneficiaries from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) received their payout from the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) held at Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on May 16, 2024.
On behalf of Sen. Imee Marcos, Mayor Eduardo Datu of Bacolor, Pampanga, and Mayor Johnny Sambo of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, led the distribution of financial aid.
Furthermore, the awarding of a certificate of recognition to Sen. Imee Marcos was headed by Dr. Enrique G. Baking, University President; Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concurrent OIC Executive Vice President and OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training & Extension Services; Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services and concurrent Dean, Graduate School; and Paul Andrei M. Macaspac, University Student Council President of DHVSU.
The submission of the list of grantees for the cash assistance was spearheaded by the Office of Career Services and Scholarship Unit.
Educational assistance is one of the objectives of AICS in helping Filipinos who are in crisis to meet their needs.
