The Training Services Office (TSO) is a unit under the Research, Innovation, Training and Extension Vice President Cluster. It spearheads the conduct of professional advancement training, skills capability enhancement training and assessment of competency-based programs.

Functions, duties, and responsibilities

a. Plan, supervise, coordinate, monitor and evaluate all training services aligned with the vision, mission, core values, and strategic direction of DHVSU.
b. Manage and implement training services including those offered by and coordinated with other government agencies, private and non-government organizations, and other external training providers.
c. Maintain effective linkages with government and non-government agencies for successful training activities/programs, particularly forging a Memorandum of Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding (MOA/MOU);
d. Coordinate consultancy services (Walk- in or on-call) following existing University policies;
e. Provide quality-assured assessment services focused on ensuring quality outcomes; and
f. Perform other tasks assigned by the University President.
