An Nicole dela Peña, a 2nd year Bachelor of Science in Architecture student, was recognized as champion for the Instrumental Music - Violin as she represented Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and the entire Region 3 in the 2024 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges National Culture and Arts Festival held in Manila, and hosted by the Philippine Normal University on April 24, 2024.

Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students Ericson C. Lopez and Juliane Mariz B. Zuñiga from Don Honorio Ventura State University - Apalit Campus (DAC), along with their coaches from the DAC-HM faculty, achieved second place in Kurang Kurang Kaleldo 2024, an Inter-University/College Culinary Competition organized by Kusinero’t Kusinerang Kapampangan in partnership with Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan. The event was held at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga on March 20, 2024.

Three students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), together with their coach Mr. Mike Haizon David won third place in Kurang Kurang Kaleldo 2024, an Inter-University/College Culinary Competition organized by Kusinero’t Kusinerang Kapampangan in partnership with Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan held at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga on March 20, 2024.

To guide and capacitate extension implementors from the various colleges and campuses in the procedures and guidelines relative to the conduct of extension services at the university, the Extension Management Office (ESO) conducted a Cluster Units Mentoring session in three batches. The sessions were held at the College of Education building on March 22, 2024.

The DHVSU Environmental Science Society (ESSOC) secured the overall second runner-up position in the Bulawan Awards '24 during the 3rd Founding Anniversary celebration of the Philippine Association of Environmental Science Students (PAESS). The event took place at Manila's National Museum of Natural History and Arroceros Forest Park on March 14, 2024.

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was recognized as the Top 1 Performing State University with the Highest Number of Level 1 Accredited Programs in 2023 during the 37th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. Annual National Conference held at Century Park Hotel, City of Manila on March 22, 2024.

In line with the celebration of National Women's Month 2024, the Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP) launched two virtual orientations with the theme "Worthy Opportunities, Meaningful Engagements and Networking (WOMEN): Virtual Orientation on Student Teaching and OJT Abroad" dated March 05 (5PM) and 13 (1PM) respectively via Google Meet Platform.
