Dr. Elena C. Tesoro, founding dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) and currently a graduate school professor and the chairperson of the Master of Science in Social Work program at Pampanga State University, was recognized as the 2025 Outstanding Professional of the Year in the Field of Social Work by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The PRC honors exemplary professionals in various fields, including social work, through its annual awards and recognition programs.
It is also noted that Dr. Tesoro received the 2024 Most Outstanding Kapampangan in Social Services award.
