For its very first run in giving back to the community as it celebrates its 80th anniversary, Unilab Inc., in partnership with the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Faculty Association (FA), provided free physical exams and health screenings for DHVSU faculty members and select employees at the University Auditorium on February 28, 2025.

As Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) hosted the first quarterly meeting of the Universities Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Action Network (USAN), the University formalized a partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Pampanga by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the country’s efforts in achieving SDG-aligned universities in the Philippines, with the event held at the University Hostel on February 24, 2025.

To provide a forum for sharing and exchanging academic and mobility opportunities, the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Council of the Philippines, in cooperation with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) UMAP National Secretariat, organized a general assembly cum conference at the CHED Auditorium in Quezon City on February 26, 2025.

The arena is set once again for Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) athletes as the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) III Olympics 2025, under the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), officially opens at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) in Magalang, Pampanga on February 24, 2025.

To facilitate collaboration in identifying the needs and vulnerabilities faced by underprivileged communities, the City Government of San Fernando - Pampanga, through its City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in a ceremony held in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on February 17, 2025.

To lay the foundation for Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in its pursuit of becoming one of the leading universities in the Southeast Asian region, the University Administrative Council and selected academic planning coordinators, led by DHVSU President Dr. Enrique Baking, convened for a three-day Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-Based Annual Planning Session 2025 at Funtasea Hotel and Beach Resort from February 18 to 20, 2025.

To provide comprehensive training in electronics, communications, and robotics, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) and Extension Services Office (ESO), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with two schools in Magalang, Pampanga, on February 13, 2025.

To provide its students with practical experience through on-the-job training (OJT) programs, specifically for those enrolled in science and technology-related (S&T) courses, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) formalized a partnership with the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office III (DOST-III) at the DOST-III Office in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on February 6, 2025.

To provide an avenue for homegrown Honorian talents to showcase their performances from the recently concluded 2024 Regional Culture and Arts Festival (RCAF), Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Office of Culture and the Arts (OCA), hosted the local celebration of National Arts Month 2025 at the University Auditorium on February 6, 2025.

In pursuit of a partnership for academic excellence in physical education and sports science, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Education (COE), signed a partnership agreement with Bulacan State University (BulSU), through its College of Sports, Exercise, and Recreation (CSER), at the BulSU Hostel, Malolos City, Bulacan, last February 5, 2025.

Demonstrating its commitment to quality and performance excellence, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was named as one of the awardees in the 2024 Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Regionalization Program, an initiative by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), as announced by the PQA Program on February 7, 2025, via a Facebook post.

As an advocate in the field of Gender and Development (GAD), the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) selected Dr. Dolores Quiambao, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)’s Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (VPSAS) and concurrent Director of the GAD Focal Point System, as one of the members of the National GAD Resource Pool (NGRP) Batch 9, with the recognition being awarded during the ceremony held at Park Inn by Radisson, Quezon City, on December 3, 2024.

As part of its commitment to advancing technological innovation and knowledge sharing, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Regional Office 3 (RO3) recognized Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) as one of the duly approved and qualified recipients of the Shared Service Facility (SSF) Projects during the 2024 STI-SSF Provincial Cooperators' Summit and Annual Year-End General Assembly, held at Lala Garden Cafe, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on December 19, 2024.

As Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) gathered for the 2024 Year-End Assembly, the Honorian community paid tribute to its retired employees and administrators, celebrating their decades of service and contributions to the University’s success, during an event held at the Dr. Ernesto Nicdao Sports Center on December 20, 2024.

This was how Dr. Maricon Viduya, the overall coordinator from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) for the Level 1 and Preliminary Survey Visit (PSV) programs for accreditation, began delivering her team’s general impressions during the closing program of the online survey visit to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) from December 2 to 6, 2024.

Dr. Enrique G. Baking, President of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), attended the executive meeting of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) leaders in Central Luzon with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman Dr. J. Prospero De Vera III and CHED Regional Office III Director Dr. Lora Yusi, which was held at Best Western Plus Metro Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga, on December 13, 2024.

Two Senior High School (SHS) students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) brought pride to the ‘Potentials,’ as their mathematical problem-solving and analyzing skills earned them medals in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad Big Bay Bei (BBB) 2024 Heat Round, held virtually on December 1, 2024.

To enhance the research and technical skills of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office III (DSWD FO III) personnel, Don Honorio Ventura State University, through its College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) and Extension Services Office (ESO), launched the CSSP RCP: Research Capacity Program for DSWD, held at DSWD FO III in Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, last December 10, 2024.
