The Code-Hearted Foxes of the College of Computing Studies (CCS) at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) achieved remarkable success at the 2025 International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE), held at Bulacan State University on April 4, 2025.
The conference, organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Region 3, aimed to foster collaboration, empowerment, and academic excellence in IT education.
IRCITE 2025 gathered participants from 20 schools with the theme "Empower, Collaborate,
Excel: Advancing Excellence and Inclusivity in IT Education for a Digital Future."
Representing DHVSU, the CCS students excelled in various categories, as listed below:
- Best Research Paper (Computer Science) - Aaron Bruce L. Agaloos
- Research Title - eXtHealth: A Browser Extension for Health Information on X using Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- 1st Place in Motion Graphics - Kirstein Claire Quiambao, Randel Datu, and Glesie Dacio
- 2nd Place in Information Technology Specialist (Device Configuration and Management) Certification - Ellaine Margaux Cuevas
- 3rd Place in Singing Contest (Quantuplet) -Samantha Gaile Flores, Renan Joseph Capili, Merylruth Cariño, Kristel Joy Pituc, and Emerson Dizon
