The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office III (DSWD - FO III), through its Policy Development and Planning Section, conducted an orientation on the Central Luzon Research and Evaluation Agenda (CLREA) 2025–2028 to the 250 third-year Bachelor of Science in Social Work students of Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) held at the University Auditorium on September 16, 2025.

Aiming to provide students with opportunities to gain work experience while supporting their educational needs, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted an orientation and contract signing for the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries of Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) at the Dr. Ernesto T. As part of its 34th Anniversary Celebration, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III (BJMPRO-III) conferred a Special Award on Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) in recognition of its unwavering support for the agency’s Safekeeping and Development Programs, presented on August 15, 2025, at Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Committed to upholding high academic standards and ensuring quality education for its students, four programs of Pampanga State University - Bacolor Campus are aiming to achieve Level 3 status as the 3-day Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) online survey visit kicked off on August 18, 2025, via Zoom Meeting.

After its successful implementation in Brgy. Magliman, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, the GANAP (Gawaing Negosyo para sa Asenso ng Pamayanan) Project will be rolled out again—this time in Lubao, Pampanga—following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) and three partner institutions on August 9, 2025.

Dr. Elena C. Tesoro, founding dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) and currently a graduate school professor and the chairperson of the Master of Science in Social Work program at Pampanga State University, was recognized as the 2025 Outstanding Professional of the Year in the Field of Social Work by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Continuing its efforts to promote a safe and inclusive academic and work environment, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) organized a seminar on Republic Act No. 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act or “Bawal Bastos Law,” for its employees, held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on August 1, 2025.

In a move to exemplify the role of science and technology in addressing development challenges, the Department of Science and Technology – Regional Office II (DOST II) visited Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) to explore its Hydraulic Ram (Hydram) Pump Project during a benchlearning event held at the University’s Multipurpose Hall on July 18, 2025.
