The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Extension Services Office (ESO) and College of Computing Studies (CCS), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III (BJMPRO III) to collaborate on a project on the development of a Web-Based Real-Time Incident Reporting System.

With JCSupt. Paulino H. Moreno Jr., Regional Director of BJMPRO III, and Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, ESO Director, in attendance, the ceremonial signing took place at the BJMPRO III headquarters in Maimpis, San Fernando, Pampanga, on December 6, 2024.

This initiative, which aims to ensure efficient information management for BJMPRO III, will be facilitated by the ESO and CCS, led by Project Head Julieta Umali, Assistant Project Head Ernest Joshua Diaz, CCS Dean Joel Canlas as Lead Coordinator, and Assistant Lead Coordinator Jordan Salenga.

Also present as DHVSU representatives were Engr. Inla Diana Salonga, Manager of Technical Advisory Services and Technology Utilization, and Maria Concepcion España, ESO Secretary.

The partnership highlights DHVSU’s commitment to sharing its expertise with public institutions, contributing to the promotion of innovation and sustainability in government processes.
