As part of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)’s mandate to implement sustainable extension services, the Extension Services Office (ESO) spearheaded a Research-Based Extension Writeshop held at the University Learning Resource Center on November 26-27, 2024.

Emphasizing the use of research outputs to drive impactful extension projects, the writeshop capacitated faculty participants to develop and implement initiatives grounded in research.

The activity was facilitated by Dr. Bernadeth Gabor of Bataan Peninsula State University and Engr. Emir Lenard Sicangco, both of whom shared the best practices of their respective institutions.

Faculty members with research outputs from various departments participated in the two- day discussion to enhance their knowledge and experience in project development and research methodologies.

The activities were led by the ESO, headed by Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, ESO Director, along with ESO Center Managers Ma. Ferdelyn Coutinho, Engr. Inla Diana Salonga, Ms. Eloisa Mendoza, and Dr. Dean Lapuz.
