Dr. Enrique G. Baking, President of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), and Dr. Elena Tesoro, DHVSU’s College of Social Sciences and Philosophy founding dean, have been recognized as recipients of the 2024 Most Outstanding Kapampangan Award (MOKA) as announced through a post by the Pampanga PIO Facebook page on December 3, 2024.

Dr. Baking is an awardee for the education category, while Dr. Tesoro is for the social services category, and along with the other 11 awardees from various fields and categories, they will be honored during the annual MOKA as part of the 453rd Pampanga Day on December 11.

The MOKA is a prestigious award that honors Kapampangans who bring pride and honor to the province through remarkable contributions in their respective fields, including institutional social services, performing arts (institutional category), medicine, mass media, science and technology, visual arts, business, sports, education, government service, and a special posthumous tribute.
