As part of its commitment to advancing technological innovation and knowledge sharing, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Regional Office 3 (RO3) recognized Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) as one of the duly approved and qualified recipients of the Shared Service Facility (SSF) Projects during the 2024 STI-SSF Provincial Cooperators' Summit and Annual Year-End General Assembly, held at Lala Garden Cafe, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on December 19, 2024.
The SSF machines, tools, and equipment donated include a CNC milling machine, a surface grinding machine, a 3D printer, an uninterrupted power supply, a 150-watt laser cutter engraver, a 3D laser scanner with a personal computer, a CNC wood lathe, a CNC router with a 4th axis, a 5-axis CNC router with 5-axis CADCAM, and one unit for upgrading an existing CNC milling machine from 3-axis to 4-axis.
During the turnover ceremony, DHVSU was represented by Engr. Anna Liza Nacion, Director of the Knowledge Management and Innovation Office, and Rogelio L. Pacatcatin Jr., Manager of the Fabrication Laboratory Center.
