As an advocate in the field of Gender and Development (GAD), the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) selected Dr. Dolores Quiambao, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)’s Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (VPSAS) and concurrent Director of the GAD Focal Point System, as one of the members of the National GAD Resource Pool (NGRP) Batch 9, with the recognition being awarded during the ceremony held at Park Inn by Radisson, Quezon City, on December 3, 2024.

Part of the recognition is the pivotal role of every GAD champion in promoting gender- sensitive policies and programs that address the needs of government organizations like DHVSU.

Earlier in 2024, Dr. Quiambao was also welcomed as a member of the Regional Gender and Development Committee III – Regional Pool of GAD Resource Persons, effective June 2024.
