To learn more about the latest trends in engineering education standards in the Philippines, four faculty members of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) attended the International Conference on Innovations in Engineering Education (ICIEE) 2024. The conference, organized by Batangas State University – The National Engineering University, was held in Batangas City from May 8 to 10, 2024.

With the theme, “Innovating Engineering Education for Sustainable Futures: Leadership, Sustainability, and Global Synergy,” the conference focused on rethinking traditional engineering education paradigms in both the Philippine and global contexts.

DHVSU was represented by Dr. Robin B. Dimla, Research Management Office Director; Engr. Jun P. Flores, College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) Dean; Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, Extension Services Management Office Director; and Engr. Nilo M. Manuntag, CEA faculty.
