To help ensure the continuity of education for poor but deserving students, out-of-school youth, and dependents of displaced workers, the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Pampanga Provincial Capitol accommodated 18 Honorian beneficiaries on May 22, 2024.
The beneficiaries signed their contracts with PESO-Pampanga, represented by Jennifer B. Reyes and Allison Joshua Mariano, and attended an orientation about their temporary employment opportunities available throughout the year.
The event was held at the Graduate School building and organized by the Student Welfare and Formation Office (SWFO) – Office of Career Services, led by Cristal Rio Manuel, under the supervision of Plato B. Mercado, SWFO Director, and Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services.
“The purpose of this is to help the students. They will be rendering work in certain companies under the supervision of PESO-Pampanga, which will likely support their educational needs and, of course, benefit their families as well,” said Mercado.
