Honorians can go global!
In line with Don Honorio Ventura State University’s (DHVSU) vision of producing globally competitive professionals, the Professional and Responsible International Migration Engagement (PRIME) Alliance opened new global employment opportunities for the DHVSU community through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) held on May 16, 2025, at the University Hostel.
As its first target partner, PRIME collaborated with DHVSU’s Training Services Office (TSO) in coordination with the Public Relations and Industry Linkages Office (PRILO).
The MOU supports the Global Careers Project, a partnership under the Tri-organization composed of the Japan Employment Providers of the Philippines and Consultants’ Association (JEPPCA), the Europe, Canada, Australia-New Zealand Association of Employment Providers of the Philippines (EC-ANZAEPP), and the Philippine Employment Agencies and Associates for Corporate Employers in the Middle East (PEACEME).
Present during the MOU signing are JEPPCA President Nora B. Braganza, JEPPCA Chairperson Edwina Lema-Beech, EC-ANZAEPP President Mary Cecil F. Claveria, PEACEME President Arnold R. Mamaclay, and EC-ANZAEPP & PEACEME Trustee Imelda S. Enriquez.
Representing DHVSU are Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; Dr. Vicky P. Vital, Mexico Campus Director and Vice President for Academic Affairs (Understudy); Dr. Dynah D. Soriano, TSO Director; and Kathleya Vianca P. Habon, PRILO Director.
“With this partnership, we affirm our resolve to open pathways that allow our graduates not only to pursue opportunities abroad, but to do so with confidence, preparation, and protection,” said Dr. Vital in her solidarity message.
The cooperation aims to implement a range of collaborative activities, including capacity development seminars, safe migration orientations, career talks, job fairs, faculty and staff training, student internships, and employment opportunities for alumni and graduates in Japan and other countries, as well as local job prospects through DHVSU’s industry partners.
As part of the partnership, a Safe Migration orientation was conducted for Honorian graduates and alumni following the MOU signing.
