“My fellow completers, we did not fail—we are not failures—because we learned, we survived, and we are ready for the certainties of the future.”
These words concluded the message of gratitude delivered by Andrei Angelo D. Pantig, batch valedictorian of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) – Laboratory High School (LHS), during the 2025 Completion Ceremony held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on June 11, 2025.
“This isn’t the end; this is just the beginning of who we’re meant to become,” Pantig further remarked.
Pantig was one of the 218 completers who marched alongside their parents and guardians to celebrate the completion of their Junior High School journey.
Each completer received a certificate of completion, along with recognition for academic and non-academic achievements throughout School Year 2024–2025. Leading the distribution of awards and recognitions were Engr. Reden Hernandez, Executive Vice President and concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance and Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Dolores Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs
and Services; and Dr. Jerame Gamboa, LHS Principal.
“More than the medals, the recognition, and the awards, today is a celebration of our perseverance, our journey, and our hope,” shared Oahn Isabelle L. Sabado, batch salutatorian, in her welcome remarks.
Sabado recalled that the greatest strength of their batch lies in their unity by standing together as they take on the responsibility of shaping a better future for themselves and the world around them.
“We are a generation of togetherness, and together, we will build a better and brighter nation—not only for the future, but for the present. We are not just passionate batchmates; we are a generation grounded in values, honor, and virtues,” she added.
The completers concluded the ceremony with a heartfelt rendition of Do I Make You Proud, a song that echoed their readiness to face new challenges and embrace opportunities as they embark on the next chapter of their journey.
