To promote academic and cultural exchange through shared ideas, collaborative program development, and strengthened research efforts, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) formalized partnerships with eight international institutions during the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) Joint Events held at Chardonnay by Astoria, Pasig City, from May 21 to 23, 2025.
A key highlight of the three-day event was the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among 12 local host institutions.
The MOU underscored their shared commitment to academic exchange, joint research initiatives, resource sharing, training programs, and international engagement, all aligned with global standards.
Among the institutions that formalized partnerships with DHVSU are Universiti Kebangsaan (Malaysia), Jagran Lakecity University (India), Daffodil International University (Bangladesh), University of Saint Joseph (Macao), INTI International University (Malaysia), Pan-European University (Slovakia), SEGi University Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), and Universitas Airlangga (Indonesia).
DHVSU was represented by Dr. Mildred M. Crisostomo, Director of the Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP); Dr. Adonis A. David, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Rodel T. Alimurong, OIPP Head for Students' Mobility and Exchanges.
The event featured the 9th AUAP Forum & Networking, the 37th AUAP Annual Conference, and AUAP’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, gathering over 170 participants from institutions across Asia and the Pacific for academic discourse, policy development, and strategic networking.
