The RMO envisions to be the center for knowledge-generation and technology development in the region toward the improvement of the individual’s living condition globally.

MISSION
The RDSO is committed to undertake and promote relevant scientific researches in Science, Technology, Education, Engineering, Humanities, and the Arts needed for the development and progress of the university and its beneficiary communities.

GOALS

• Development, utilization and promotion of new knowledge in Science, Technology, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Arts and other fields among the university’s colleges and campuses ;
• Effective transfer of the newly developed knowledge and technologies in improving the quality of life in areas that it serves;
• Creation of a progressive research culture, which encourages scholarly and scientific researches;
• Intellectual property application, registration and commercialization of completed R & D projects; and
• Reinforcement of DHVSU linkages through timely and relevant research and development programs.

OBJECTIVES

• To set the R & D directions and structure toward science and technology;
• To develop the research capabilities of faculty members;
• To establish research linkages for funding assistance;
• To utilize resources in all the colleges and campuses of the University for production, income-generation, and sustainability;
• To strengthen the existing curricular programs through student and faculty researches;
• To effectively transfer developed knowledge and matured technologies to industries and rural communities; and
• To undertake research studies based on the R & D Agenda of the University , Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ,
• Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and other government agencies/institutions.
