- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Major in Marketing Management)
The Business Administration programs covers the integrated approach and interrelationship among the functional, areas of business as well as sensitivity to the economic, social, technological, legal and international environments where business must operate. The objective of the program is not simply to impart business knowledge, but instill and nurture important qualities and skills that are essential for future business leadership and organizational success in our students.
It is an interdisciplinary and problem focused program comprised of three integrated elements: basic business, business core and professional courses. The program also addresses contemporary organizational issues such as global competition, continuous quality improvement, good governance and the relationship between organizations and various environmental forces which are key components of global economy.
The marketing management in particular, prepares the students to be responsive to the business environment by providing technical skills and competences in the areas of marketing. Theory is blended with practicum activities to give the students a broad and enriched base for career in marketing. More so, students who major in marketing learn the six functional areas related to the marketing process – brand marketing, advertising, sales promotion, market research, sales and retailing. Further, students might learn about product development, pricing, consumer decision making, and legal aspects of marketing and global marketing as well. - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Major in Business Economics)
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Business Economics is designed to provide students with a strong foundation and an understanding of the world of economics, covering local and global economic conditions as well as the methods and applications of economic analysis. The course teaches students choose and maximize limited resources, and analyze problems that may arise as they make these choices, which in effect, trains them in policy formulation that can have direct or indirect effect in their economic decisions.
The program includes topics and courses in banking, investments, business processes, laws, international economics, managerial economics, human resource economics, liberal arts and government.
The program is designed to enhance the strategic planning and research skills, critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills of the students. - Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship
The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship program is designed to provide strong foundation to students on the theories and concepts of marketing management, finance, accounting and information technology. It offers students business education with focus on the issues involved in both starting a business and fostering innovation in a corporate setting. Students develop an entrepreneurial perspective through incorporation of concepts from management, marketing and finance to explore the creation, growth and success of new enterprises. - Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is a five-year program that prepares the student for the Certified Public Accountants’ Board Exam which encompasses subjects in Accounting, Audit, Business Law and Taxation. It prepares students for job opportunities in the Accounting profession and helps them be ready in coping the problems they will be facing as Professional Accountants. BS Accountancy prepares students solve problems that needs logical thinking, reasoning, analytical skills, and effective communication skills in order to succeed in the program professional values such as Commitment, Patience, and Hardwork are integral in becoming a Professional Accountant.
BS Accountancy also provides students with the knowledge of what accounting is about and its role in business and its fundamental concerns and concepts. It broadens the ability of the students to analyze, interpret and evaluate relevant accounting problems and apply them in real world of work scenarios.
It also develops the students’ accounting skills to perform such duties as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, auditing and tax preparations.
