In a letter approved by DHVSU President Enrique G. Baking, the university will hold its college graduation ceremony from September 4–8, 2023.
As per the letter released by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), the 5-day graduation ceremony will be divided into two sessions; the morning session will start at 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 N.N., whereas the afternoon session kicks off at 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.

As appended in the letter, the OVPAA also mandated all Committees on Graduation to immediately start working on the necessary preparations for their designated tasks.
With this academic undertaking nearly approaching, the VPAA also emphasized that all faculty are suggested to wear Filipiniana or Modern Filipiniana for females and long-sleeved barongs for males.
Meanwhile, all graduating students are required to wear a toga as their official dress code for the said event.
