“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” - John 3:16-17
In remembrance of the solemnity of this day, let us take time to remember that even when silence filled the tomb, the promise of resurrection remained, giving way to the light of new life brought by the blood of Jesus Christ. For all believers, there is the triumph of light over darkness.
