Three instructors from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) have completed the 15-day Basic Culinary and Sanitation Program of LTB Philippines Chef Association Culinary Scholarship Program (LTBCSP) at Chef Norbert Gandler’s International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management in Manila last July 21, 2023.
The scholars, namely Tam Feliciano, Alfer Sanchez, and Glenn Abutan Jr. represent the fourth batch of instructors from DHVSU to receive this scholarship opportunity.
The program took place from July 10 to 21, 2023, and the instructors had the opportunity to learn from experienced chefs and industry professionals, honing their culinary expertise and gaining valuable insights to share with their students back at CTHM.
LTBCSP sponsored a total of 17 hotel and restaurant instructors among the numerous applicants across the Philippines to participate in the program.
Previous batches of scholars from DHVSU who have benefited from the LTBCSP include Maria Kristel K. Agustin (2017), Mike Haizon M. David and Glen Brian L. Lacsa (2018), Ilyn M. Mendoza and Joelan S. Aguilar (2019).
