AACCUP visits DHVSU anew; 14 programs aim for accreditation

As part of the University’s mission to provide quality instruction and services for the holistic development of students, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) is set to conduct an online survey visit to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) from August 5 to 9, 2024.

The AACCUP accreditors were welcomed by Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, OIC – Office of the Executive Vice President, and OIC – Office of the Vice President for Administration & Finance. Engr. Hernandez acknowledged the partners of DHVSU and the team working behind the activity. “State universities like DHVSU that embrace and uphold AACCUP accreditation exemplify their commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education that empowers individuals and drives the progress of the nation,” said Engr. Hernandez.

He also added that the University must continue to strive for and maintain accreditation levels as a means to secure its place as a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and societal transformation.

Fourteen programs will be evaluated, with four programs as candidates for Level 1 accreditation and 10 programs to undergo preliminary survey visits.

Mexico Campus
• Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Major in Home Economics
• BS in Hospitality Management

Porac Campus
• BS in Business Administration Major in Marketing
• BS in Information Technology
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
• BS in Social Work

The week-long activity is managed by the Quality Management System Office, led by its director, Dr. Emmanuel B. Pareño.
