Recognized as one of the Centers of Development for Teacher Education, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Education (COE), showcased its best practices in extension processes and successful community projects at the 1st Central Luzon Teacher Education Summit, held at Central Luzon State University in the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, on February 26-27, 2025.
DHVSU-COE Dean Dr. Riza B. Lintag highlighted key programs, such as Adopt-a-Pupil, Numeracy Program, Project START, and Project GIFT, which serve as manifestations of the College’s commitment to extend its expertise to external stakeholders.
Additionally, she also offered insights on how other institutions can replicate DHVSU’s success, achieved through its recognition as a Center of Development for Teacher Education.
Dr. Lintag was also joined by other COE program chairpersons from DHVSU campuses during the event.
The event was organized by the Association of Deans of Colleges of Education Region 3 (ADCER 3) to promote best practices among Teacher Education Institutions in instruction, research, and community outreach, while fostering a collaborative approach to future developments in teacher education.
