COE students, parents engage in an orientation for pre-service teaching internship

A significant event unfolded as students from the College of Education (COE) gathered with their parents on the DCC campus grounds, August 29.

The event signaled the commencement of a training session for the upcoming Pre-Service Teaching Internship.

Ms. Jaria Mae Mallari and Ms. Leana Temporada teamed to serve as co-hosts for the event. Meanwhile, Mr. Arnold Lumanlan, the academic chairperson and campus Directress, Ms. Kathleya Vianca P. Habon provided a touch of sincerity to the event by conveying warm greetings and an uplifting message. Their words strike a deep connection with everyone as they head on the next phase in their path toward an inspiring future.

The Degenderized Pre-Service Teacher Seminar continued earlier, through the used of Google Meet and Facebook Live. The focus remained on preparing students for their subsequent internships. Myrafe Pangan, a speaker from the Philippine National Police, gained added weight on an important part of the event. Ma'am Pangan imparted significant knowledge to the everyone, educating them on the serious matter of self-protection in every circumstance.

COE students' pre- and post-internships are anticipated to begin in September and run through the last semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
