The DHVSU Environmental Science Society (ESSOC) secured the overall second runner-up position in the Bulawan Awards '24 during the 3rd Founding Anniversary celebration of the Philippine Association of Environmental Science Students (PAESS). The event took place at Manila's National Museum of Natural History and Arroceros Forest Park on March 14, 2024.
Among the 40+ participating schools, the organization was also honored with the Innovation Award. Additionally, Zach P. Lopez, Director of DHVSU-ESSOC, received the Environmental Youth Leadership Award.
