Rayong, Thailand – As part of the continuing partnership, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and the Institute of Vocational Educational, Eastern Region, Thailand (IVEE) embarked on a Languagebased Tech-Voc Training program on September 11-15.
Over the past five years, DHVSU and IVEE have cultivated partnership and this collaboration is part of the Memorandum of Understanding inked between the two institutions following the successful 20-day English-Kapampangan-Thai Language and Culture program conducted in August-September 2021.
Dr. Mildred M. Crisostomo, DHVSU's Director for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP), along with Ms. Joyce Ann M. Tolentino, Program Head for English Language and Short-Term Course, and Ms. Antonia B. Fernandez, a faculty member from the College of Education represented DHVSU's English Language Program to the faculty members across the nine colleges of IVEE.
Additionally, Crisostomo, Tolentino, and Fernandez delivered training to selected faculty members by demonstrating a contextually relevant approach to the English language.
The said partnership aligns with DHVSU's vision to be a leading institution in the ASEAN Region, dedicated to producing globally competitive professionals capable of advancing knowledge and technology for sustainable societal development through the OIPP.
