DHVSU signs agreements with 2 schools in Magalang, Pampanga

To provide comprehensive training in electronics, communications, and robotics, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) and Extension Services Office (ESO), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with two schools in Magalang, Pampanga, on February 13, 2025.

The two partner schools are Rodolfo V. Feliciano Memorial High School (RVFMHS) and Senior High School in Magalang Stand Alone II (SHS-MSA II).

The agreement was initiated to implement two key projects:

  • Project ELEVATE: Empowering Educators in Electronics and Robotics Advancement through Training and Engagement
  • Project E-RISE: Electronics and Robotics Initiative for STEM Excellence

These projects aim to equip DepEd teachers and students with enhanced knowledge and skills in electronics engineering, aligning with the DepEd’s Special Science Program in Electronics and Robotics and its practical applications.

During the ceremonial signing, DHVSU was represented by Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, ESO Director; Engr. Jun P. Flores, CEA Dean; and Engr. Mary Anne M. Sahagun, CEA-EE Department Chairperson.

Meanwhile, RVFMHS was represented by Jovito H. Suplito, School Principal III, and Michelle G. Remolacio, Head Teacher III, while SHS-MSA-2 was represented by Dhalia G. Guinto, Assistant School Principal II, and Ma. Teresa Abellera, SHS-MSA-2 faculty.
