The digital classroom is on its way to unlock smarter learning soon.
Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), in partnership with C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions, conducted a Digital Learning Spaces Training using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) for college and campus representatives, held at the Audio- Visual Room of the University Learning Resource Center on September 30, 2025.
Jointly organized by the Library Services Office (LSO) and the Management Information Systems Office (MISO), the training aimed to enhance the competencies of the university community in designing and sustaining inclusive and equitable digital learning spaces foPhoto credits: Public and Media Affairs Unitr its stakeholders.
“As we increasingly rely on digital platforms for education, it is crucial that we address and overcome any barriers that prevent equal access and opportunity,” LSO Director Suzette Macaspac stated.
She also mentioned that the training program will explore practical strategies for promoting gender equality within our learning management system, ensuring that all students and faculty can thrive in digital learning.

The training was facilitated by C&E representatives Kevin Raymund Cabilla, implementation, onboarding, and success specialist, and Roel Cyrus Magpantay, solutions engineer.
Cabilla and Magpantay provided an overview of Canvas' Fundamentals Training, highlighting its advantages for academic institutions.
Closing the program, MISO Director Angelito D. Quito recalled the adjustments brought by technological innovation and its impact on shaping the university’s educational system.
“Change is inevitable. While traditions are important, we must also strive to remain relevant so we can be effective, productive, and efficient in our roles,” Quito said.
Through this training, the college and campus representatives who attended will serve as guides to their fellow faculty members in leveraging digital classrooms to advance inclusive and accessible education.
