The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) students from the College of Engineering and Architecture of Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) earned top distinctions at the 3rd National Mechanical Engineering Students’ Conference (MESCON) 2025, held at The Tent, Villar City, Las Piñas, on September 16, 2025.
Organized by the Pambansang Samahan ng Inhinyerong Mekanikal, Inc. (PSIM) – National Student Unit, the event gathered participants from more than 35 universities across the country.
The ME Elasticos proudly secured multiple awards across various competitions, including the following:
- Gold Medalist, On-the-Spot Poster Making - Ryan P. Dultra
- Silver Medalist, Amateur Photography - Ma. Jannie L. De Omaña
- Bronze Medalists, ME Talino (Quiz Bee) - Ivan Elmo C. Vitug, Bryan James D. Rangel, and Prince Carlo V. Mendoza
- Bronze Medalist, CAD Challenge - Francine Hilarie H. Miclat

The conference aimed to bring together mechanical engineering students, educators, and professionals nationwide for a day of innovation, learning, and collaboration through plenary sessions, academic and hands-on competitions, and creative contests.
This year’s theme, “PSIM: Leadership with Integrity and Stability through Motivation and Mentoring for the Progression of the Glocal Mechanical Engineers,” highlighted the organization’s commitment to shaping globally competent yet locally grounded engineers.
