
To strengthen institutional linkages and formation of dynamic networks, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) was among the 10 academic institutions that entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a joint conference on March 26, 2026 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The MOU aims to enhance productivity of the participating institutions through joint research and publications, academic exchange programs, capacity-building initiatives, conference and symposia, and resource sharing.
The 3-day joint conference organized by Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators represented by Chairperson, Associate Prof. Dr. Veeranoot Nissapatorn, and UCSI University represented by President and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Emeritus Datuk Ts Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir, FASc.
Along with Pampanga State U, institutions that signified their commitment are: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Burapha University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Quezon City University, Osmeña Colleges, Emilio Aguinaldo Colleges, and Carcar City College.
Commission on Higher Education’s Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, Commissioner delivered his keynote speech together with Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education Dr. Shamsuri Abdullah, Director General.
On behalf of Pampanga State Agricultural University President Enrique G. Baking, Engr. Alma L. Tangcuangco of the Research Management Office represented the University in the conference, along with various participants from the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Thailand, India, and Malaysia.
