SOL partners with 5 agencies for CLEP

 

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) - School of Law (SOL) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with six government agencies at the University Hostel on March 7, 2024.

The partnership involves the following organizations:

  • Commission on Human Rights – Region III (represented by Atty. Leorae D. Valmonte, Director)
  • Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Pampanga (represented by Atty. Alejandro Buan)
  • Regional Trial Court - City of San Fernando, Pampanga (represented by Hon. Robert Alexander R. Malig, Executive Judge)
  • Department of Education - Region III (represented by Atty. Angeline Rogel)
  • Public Attorney’s Office - Region III (represented by Atty. Socrates Padua)

Meanwhile, DHVSU was represented by the following in formalizing the MOA signing:

  • Enrique G. Baking, DHVSU President
  • David Robert C. Aquino, Dean of DHVSU - SOL
  • Benedict John C. Aure, Adviser of DHVSU CLEP Program
  • Jasmin Angela S. Atencion, CLEP President of DHVSU - SOL

This collaboration aims to establish the Center for Human Rights at DHVSU and the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), where DHVSU - School of Law students will receive professional instruction and training as future lawyers.
