The Accounting Unit ensures the efficient and transparent management of University funds in compliance with government regulations, standards, and financial reporting requirements. Its primary goal is to maintain accountability, prevent misuse of resources, and support informed decision-making.

Its key functions are the processing of Disbursement Vouchers, various funds’ monitoring, maintenance and updating, preparation and timely submission of financial accountability reports including the Basic Financial Statements, processing of Billing Statements and Liquidation Reports, processing of the Scholarship Benefits of some students, offering of financial insights to aid in policy and operational decisions and making sure that all financial activities of the University comply with the applicable government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
