Out of 200 applicants, two Honorian student leaders made it to the top 25 finalists of the 2024 Outstanding Student Leaders of the Philippines (OSLP), organized by Transforming Advocates and Champions (TRAC) Philippines Inc., during the 4th International Convention on Student Affairs and Services (ICSAS) held at Venus Parkview Hotel, Baguio City, on October 4, 2024.

Vaughne Rylee Alonzo, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture student, and Gilbert Francisco, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics graduate, proudly represented the don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in the search for OSLP, where Francisco was named as the Top 4 OSLP among the 25 finalists.

The two student leaders first attended a two-day Formation Program and Community Immersion from August 24 to 25, 2024, in Manila City as part of the competition.

Director for Student Affairs, Dr. Gloria B. Gigante, University Student Council (USC) Adviser, Ms. Hiline E. Hernandez, and USC Senators Russel A. Pineda, Airah S. Sumagka, and Alpha Tricia Cagang also participated in the 4th ICSAS as representatives of DHVSU.
