In a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) and the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines, Inc., DHVSU was recognized as one of the co-organizers of the 6th International Conference on Automation, Mechatronics, and Robotics (ICAMEROB 2024), to be held at Cebu Technological University in Danao City, Cebu, on September 26-28, 2024.

The MOA includes the terms and conditions that both organizations shall follow, such as promoting the 6th ICAMEROB to stakeholders and networks and submitting research papers.

The event was themed 'Unleashing Synergies: Pursuing Intelligent Integration of Automation, Mechatronics, and Robotics for a Sustainable Future,' and it brought together engineers from various fields, resource speakers, and delegates from different countries, including the Philippines.

DHVSU was represented by Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension, along with the Computer Engineering faculty, including Engr. Asil Kastle S. Dela Cruz, Engr. Juvy C. Grume, and Engr. Ruby Rosa N. Puno, during the 6th ICAMEROB.
