To ensure efficiency in procurement processes, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of Don Honorio Ventura State University organized a re-orientation session at the University Hostel on August 31.
The activity is conducted annually through the leadership of University President Dr. Enrique G. Baking to reacquaint participants from various units of DHVSU with the essential components of Republic Act 9184 and the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) guidelines.
Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Chair of the BAC, led the event, emphasizing the significance of adhering to established procedures to maintain the integrity of the procurement process.
Representatives from various university offices, including Director Mair S. De Lara (Supply and Property), Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao (Gender and Development), Joseph Ian P. Guintu (Accounting), Director Luis M. Lansang (Finance), and Agnes Pelayo (Cashiering), were invited to share their insights and provide reminders to the participants.
DHVSU executives, including Dr. Baking and OIC-Executive Vice President Reden M. Hernandez, were also present to deliver their messages and statements of purpose.
