The Commission on Human Rights – Region III (CHR-Region III) presented a recognition to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its School of Law (SOL), for its vital role and commitment to advancing human rights through education, advocacy, and community engagement.

The recognition was given during the Lakaran 2024 Kakampi Meet: CHRE and HRAC Summit, held at Hiyas ng Bulacan, Malolos City, Bulacan, on September 19, 2024.

Furthermore, another recognition was presented by CHR-Region III to DHVSU's School of Law (SOL) at Guagua District Jail, Guagua, Pampanga, on September 18, 2024, for being a key partner in the Lakaran 2024 Bantay Karapatan: Legal Clinic Caravan and Jail Visitation, which provided free legal assistance and shared expertise.

The awards were received by Atty. Benedict John Aure, Director of the Clinical Legal Education Program; Atty. Anna Dominique Guison, Director of the Human Rights Center; and law student practitioners Ms. Ma. Jasmin Angela Atencion, Ms. Irene Calica, and Ms. Erika Pauline Layson.
