The Civil Service Commission Regional Office III (CSC-ROIII) recognized Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) for attaining Maturity Level 2 under the Enhanced Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) during a courtesy visit held at the University Board Room on October 16, 2025.
This distinction, based on CSC Accreditation Award No. 2500886 promulgated on August 13, 2025, under the PRIME-HRM program, covers two core Human Resource systems— Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP) and Performance Management (PM)— recognizing the University’s consistent compliance with Civil Service standards and regulations.
During the visit, CSC Field Office III Director II Dyna Marie D. Quimson encouraged Pampanga State U Executive Vice President Engr. Reden M. Hernandez to strive for the Bronze Award, the next milestone following the attainment of Maturity Level 2.
“Kailangan umabot tayo sa bronze, para sa national level award kasali tayo. Kasi every year po mayroon po kaming awarding ng national every September,” said Quimson.
The achievement underscores Pampanga State U’s commitment to excellence through the continuous improvement of its systems, structures, and practices in the field of HRM.
“Salamat po sa inyong support and rest assured po na we will follow. Hindi po namin pabababain kundi patataasin pa namin, and we are targeting the bronze. Next year po, expect mo Ma’am, nandiyan na ang University,” said EVP Hernandez, expressing his gratitude to CSC ROIII for the acknowledgment.
Also present during the awarding, representing University President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, were Debbie Ann N. Barrera, Head of the Human Resource Management Unit, and Dr. Jayson G. Magat, Director of the Data Privacy Office.
