In pursuit of a partnership for academic excellence in physical education and sports science, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Education (COE), signed a partnership agreement with Bulacan State University (BulSU), through its College of Sports, Exercise, and Recreation (CSER), at the BulSU Hostel, Malolos City, Bulacan, last February 5, 2025.
DHVSU is committed to supporting BulSU’s initiatives through research skills enhancement, instructional development, and public service missions.
On the other hand, BulSU acknowledged the partnership as a step toward upgrading its manpower resources through the programs ‘Holistic Development of Physical Educators through Research for Quality Teaching’, ‘Empowering Physical Culture in Higher Education’, and the ‘Research Conference on Physical Education (RCPEd)’ of DHVSU. Dr. Teody San Andres, University President of BulSU, together with Dr. Ciriaco Garcia,
Chancellor-External Campus, Dr. Rafael Celso, BulSU-CSER Dean, Anthony Antonio, BulSU- CSER Associate Dean, and Joseph Lobo, BulSU-CSER Research Head, warmly welcomed the Honorians for the signing ceremony.
Representing DHVSU during the event was Dr. Vicky Vital, Director of DHVSU-Mexico Campus, along with Julius Ceazar Tolentino, Bachelor of Physical Education Area Chairperson, Mary Chantelle Carlos, Unit Head of the Institute of Physical Education, and COE faculty members Luwy Valenzuela, and Christian Sinio.
