DHVSU features Honorian artists for the local celebration of Nat’l Arts Month ’25

 

To provide an avenue for homegrown Honorian talents to showcase their performances from the recently concluded 2024 Regional Culture and Arts Festival (RCAF), Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Office of Culture and the Arts (OCA), hosted the local celebration of National Arts Month 2025 at the University Auditorium on February 6, 2025.

Adopting the 2024 National Commission for Culture and the Arts theme, 'Ani ng Sining, Diwa ng Damdamin,' the activity paid tribute to the uniqueness and diversity of Filipino heritage and culture.

The 2024 RCAF delegates attended the event to receive their recognition from the University. “In celebration of not only arts month but also in celebration of our feet in the recently concluded Regional Culture and Arts festival, tayo po, I can proudly say ay umakyat ng konti from the eighth place, we are ranked seven from last year's RCAF,”Rowell Cruz, OIC-Director of OCA, said in his welcome speech.

Fostering artistic excellence, select RCAF delegates staged the piece they performed during the competition at Bulacan State University in November 2024. “Our students made us proud with the different events they joined and successfully won in their own right. Today, we will be enjoying their performances as we celebrate National Arts Month," Cruz added.
