Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through the Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension Cluster, and Mabalacat City College (MCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in research, innovation, training, and extension services held at MCC Campus on November 11, 2024.

Pursuits included in the collaboration may also involve other feasible initiatives aimed at fostering the delivery of academic program pathways and developing a mutually beneficial relationship between the two institutions.

Key areas of cooperation also include community organization and development; co-sponsorship and co-hosting of trainings, seminars, and other related activities; cooperative projects and activities in research, innovation, training, and community extension services; sharing of available service facilities and laboratories; and the delivery of academic programs.

DHVSU was represented by the Extension Services Office (ESO), led by its Director, Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, along with Dr. Dean Lapuz, ESO Center Manager for Community Development and Cultural Enrichment; Ms. Ma. Ferdelyn M. Coutinho, Center Manager for TechConnect and E-Community Engagement; Mr. John Dave Dicuangco, ESO Specialist; Engr. Mark James Layson, Project Leader; and Dr. Adonis David, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Meanwhile, Mr. Raymond John D. Vergara, Vice President for Global Relations, Opportunities, and Workforce Development, and Mr. James Darwin Lagman, Director of the Center for Community Research and Innovation, represented MCC.
