Recognizing students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and social responsibility, the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines -Region 3 Alumni Community
of Heroes (R3ACH) named five Honorian alumni among the 17 finalists of the 2024 Huwarang Mag-aaral ng Gitnang Luzon (HMGL).
The Honorian finalists who made it are:
- Dannia G. Bondoc - Bachelor of Science in Psychology
- Gilbert P. Francisco - Bachelor of Science in Statistics
- Jhasper Y. Castro - Bachelor of Science in Architecture
- Jefrey D. Marcelo - Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
- Patrick Bryan H. Porras - Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English
After the 5-day culminating weekend held at different municipalities of Pampanga, Bondoc and Francisco are adjudged as two of the 10 awardees of HMGL 2024 which took place at
PGN Auditorium, Holy Angel University on November 11, 2024.
Being a role model is something that each of us defines and embodies in our own way,” said Noorain Sabdulla-Dela Cruz, guest of honor at the HMGL awarding ceremony, during her
inspirational speech.
Dr. Lora L. Yusi, director of the Commission on Higher Education – Region 3, was also present
and left the finalists with a message of hope and service, emphasizing the words
“Magpasalamat, mag-ambag, at maglingkod.”
The DHVSU finalists were accompanied by Dr. Gloria B. Gigante, Director of the Office of Student Affairs; Dr. Nelly Pilao, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy;
Chairperson Antonio Morales of the Department of Psychology; Dr. Adonis David, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Riza Lintag, Dean of the College of Education; Ar. Owen
Canlas, faculty member of the Department of Architecture; and Chairperson Jerone Aga of the Architecture Department.
