DHVSU partners with 2 institutions for ICT empowerment

 

Committed to fulfilling two additional projects focused on information and communication technology (ICT) literacy, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)—through its Sto.
Tomas Campus (DSTC), College of Computing Studies (CCS), and Extension Services Office (ESO)—signed a partnership agreement with Brgy. San Matias, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga
Council (BSMC), and San Matias Elementary School (SMES) held at DSTC on November 7, 2024.

DHVSU will extend its services to BSMC through Project COMET: Community Empowerment through Technology, which aims to organize and facilitate extension services such as training
on current trends, video editing, information organization, and internet safety.

Meanwhile, the project titled “Beyond the Classroom Walls: Expanding Horizons with the Digital Learning Extension Program,” focuses on ICT and technological training
advancements, including essential hardware and software skills, graphic design using Canva, productivity tools like Microsoft Excel, mobile video editing, communication and
collaboration tools, and cloud services, and will be extended to SMES.
